We Stayed In A Castle ~ at Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel

We Stayed In A Castle ~ at Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel

Part of what makes a vacation is not only the destination. Yes, it is exciting to go to Disneyland, but it is also part of the adventure to have a great resort to come back to after a long day at the park or just be able to spend the day, lounging around the pool and taking in the amenities that the hotel offers.

We were very fortunate to be invited to stay at the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel in Anaheim, California during our trip to Disneyland last week.

A Disneyland Good Neighbor hotel, it sits just 1/2 mile away from the park and makes it very convenient to just walk over on a beautiful California day. If you would rather ride, it offers free transportation called the Dream Machine, to and from the Disneyland Resort. Because they are a Disneyland® Resort Good Neighbor Hotel, you can purchase Disneyland® Resort Park Hopper® Tickets on their designated ticket page. From the second you walk into the grand castle entry,  you know your vacation has begun. They also offer Anaheim’s largest hotel rooms (almost 500 square feet), an outdoor swimming pool, bar, restaurants, and 13 acres of tranquil gardens—all ideal for unwinding after a day of Disneyland® Park fun.

Our room was awesome with a great view of courtyard and even got to watch the fireworks right from our room. One morning we even spotted some royalty walking about and a princess waved to us as we called to her from our balcony! The grounds around the hotel are beautiful and really make you feel like you are in an enchanted land.

The room was very spacious and had plenty of storage space. We were excited to have a castle room and it had a wonderful king size bed, a sofa and table and chairs. Of course having the ability to be so close to Disneyland is one of the biggest perks and it made it seem like we never left the parks!

The hotel also offers many great amenities and we were fortunate to be given the “Happily Ever After” package which includes breakfast for two, late check out, a free Dream Machine shuttle to/from Disneyland® Resort, and more! For stays between February 1-28, use offer code EVERAFTER to reserve their Happier Ever After Package. This was a wonderful addition to our stay and we want to thank the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel team for setting us up with that. The package includes with :

  • A room fit for royalty
  • Chocolates on arrival night
  • Keepsake frame for your favorite photo
  • Breakfast for two in the Garden Court Bistro ($25 voucher. Does not include gratuity)
  • 1 PM late check-out
  • Free Dream Machine Shuttle to/from Disneyland® Resort
  • Advance purchase of Disneyland® Resort Tickets

There is also entertainment on site, a beautiful restaurant that we went to called as well as other dining options from Hanagi  Japanese Restaurant (which we were also hosted at and will have a separate review), the Garden Court Bistro and California Deli. We had breakfast there and the buffet was great and had a good selection of the most popular breakfast items both hot and cold.

There is also a visit from Princess Corinne during your meal and this was a pleasant surprise. Besides saying Good Morning to the guests, she is also roaming around the castle themed grounds, offering story hour, magic movie night, and Friday through Sunday she will come wake you up in the morning or tuck you in the evening after a fun day at the park! How cool is that! Alessa was magical gifted with a visit from the Princess one morning and what a great way to start the day!

We want to thank the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel for having us and we look forward to staying there again on our return trips to Disneyland in the future.

If you are looking to book your next Disneyland vacation be sure and check out their website and go to Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel.

Disneyland® Park Reservations – There’s a new reservation system in place and all Guests ages 3 and up will need both a theme park reservation and a valid admission ticket, for the same park on the same date. If you’re planning on getting a multi-day ticket, make sure you’re also making park reservations for every day of your visit. You can check theme park reservation availability online, so do that before you buy your tickets to make sure you can get both on the days you’re planning to be here.
