Last night on our live stream, we announced something very special. Not only is it special for us, but super special for you too. We are all going to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party ON THE FIRST NIGHT!!
Now, for all of you Mayne Mafians out there in internet land…you know that we LOVE a party, especially a Halloween party. So in just over a week or so, we will be hitting Magic Kingdom, candy bags in hand, and well, maybe a little Halloween attire as well and seeing all the new things that are to be at this 2019 party. Here are some new events-and original favorites- that we will be looking forward to bringing you to see.
As mentioned in a prior blog, we-well, more truthfully one of us- are huge ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ fans. So this year we are super excited as there will be a brand new Halloween fireworks spectacular this year, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky-Spectacular, that will be hosted by Jack Skellington of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas along with a specially themed parade starring favorite Disney characters all decked out in their Halloween costumes!
Another favorite that we have which is exclusive is several attractions across the park receive special enhancements or overlays just for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. The first three of these debuted last year, with the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor overlay being new this year;
Mad Tea Party – The teacups will take you for a colorful ride with new lighting and effects providing a different nighttime atmosphere.
Pirates of the Caribbean – New pirates will invade the attraction, interacting with sailing guests who will join the search for “Gunpowder Pete” who is a live actor in the ride.
Space Mountain – Yes, this will be amazing! Magic Mode, here we come….Rocket ships will hurtle through deep space as a new soundtrack and special effects transform the adventure.
Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor – When you follow the treat trail into the Monster World at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, you’ll interact in all-new ways with the comic cast of monsters, as they learn about the curious Human World holiday we call Halloween.
We cannot wait to bring everyone along as we have a great night at the first of the season Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party of 2019. Put on your best costume and be sure that your notification bell is on as you don’t want to miss out on this trick or treat live stream.
