NEW HAUNT AND HORROR CONVENTION COMING TO ORLANDO IN OCTOBER
For those of you that watch the channel regularly, you know that we are always looking for new and exciting adventures to take you to ‘through the lens of this livestreamer.’ Also, when that mashes up with some spookiness, it is a win, win situation! This October, we have been invited as media to cover the new Fantasm Orlando Convention at Rosen Shingle Creek.
It is a jam packed schedule of celebrities and ‘infamous’ people that are making up this horror festival. Guests booked include smallest living woman Jyoti Amge, actor Michael Berryman (“One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” “The Hills Have Eyes”) and voice of Courage the Cowardly Dog Marty Grabstein.
Local steampunk performers Phantasmagoria are also slated to appear, as are the mocap actors who played the right and left heads for King Ghidorah in “Godzilla: King of the Monsters.” (So far, the middle is a no show, which is bound to cause a struggle for dominance.)
Also on the agenda is an 18-and-older Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure-themed burlesque show, not to be confused with the old Bill & Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure that ran at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights through 2017.
Fantasm is set to take over the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel, 9939 Universal Blvd. in Orlando on Oct. 11-13. Tickets, $30-$120, are on sale now at fantasmorlando.com
