One of the most amazing things about living in the Sunshine State, otherwise known her as the F.L.A., is the fact that we get to take advantage of the great Florida Resident offers from Disney. To that point, Disney has just come out with an offer that is almost to good to be true.
First, with a Florida Resident Disney Magic Flex Ticket, guests can visit 2, 3 or 4 days – depending on the ticket purchased – at one Walt Disney World theme park per day. Florida Residents can enjoy a2-day Florida Resident Disney Magic Flex Ticket for just $130 plus tax. 2-day Florida Resident Disney Magic Flex Tickets must be used by September 30, 2020. Reservations are limited and subject to availability.
We’re also for a limited time, Florida Residents will be able to receive a 20% discount on select merchandise at Walt Disney World Resort owned and operated locations. This special new discount runs Mondays through Thursdays—September 15 through October 29, 2020 (proof of residency required). See offer details. I know that his is exciting for all you merch lovers out there. Even I am excited as I have had my eye on a couple of things this season.
Florida Residents can also stay in the middle of the magic with a special Resort hotel offer. Residents can save up to 35% on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels for stays most nights through December 25, 2020.
As a reminder, Walt Disney World is continuing to operate with new protocols in place to promote the health and well-being of guests and cast members. To manage attendance during this time, we are using the Disney Park Pass system. All guests with a ticket or annual pass are required to make a reservation in advance for each park entry. Learn more by visiting DisneyWorld.com/Updates.
Of course, even if you are traveling into Florida for the fall festivities, all guests will be able to take in all the fall and seasonal decor, offerings and bewitching surprises through the Walt Disney World Resort, and starting Sept 15th at Magic Kingdom Park as they roll out the Halloween festivities.
Throughout the day, special Halloween cavalcades will pop up on the parade route and head down Main Street, U.S.A. You could come across Mickey Mouse and his pals, all dressed up for the occasion in Boo-tiful Halloween costumes. On select days, you may even encounter a cavalcade of Disney Villains – from Gaston and Maleficent to Queen of Hearts and Jafar – creeping down the path, or a nightmarish procession featuring the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington!
As another special treat for the Halloween season, we are thrilled (and chilled!) to hear that the the iconic Dapper Danswill be back to Magic Kingdom Park, beginning September 20, performing as their undead alter egos The Cadaver Dans. We will be enchanted by a cappella performances from the Cadaver Dans when they emerge from their tombs. And for the first time, guests of all ages can wear their funniest, Disney-ist, most creative costumes during Magic Kingdom Park regular operating hours. We can also head over to Epcot, enjoying food and drink offerings at EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival going on now.
