Ever had a busy day at the parks and realize that it is after 10pm already? Tummy growling and realized that you have not eaten a thing since breakfast? That is always what happens with us.
On this warm night in July, we were invited out again to sample some of the late night offerings that Enzo’s Hideaway and The Edison are highlighting to late night nibblers. For just $5 you have a great choice of items from Philly Cheesesteak to Clothesline Bacon. The portions were reasonable and so was the price.
We also were able to try the Flouroscopy, an interesting cocktail that backed a punch. It was much easier to drink that it was to say. We like the atmosphere at both places and the “speak easy” vibe is carried through well. Even in the names of the drinks such as The Flying Phonograph and the Luciano Spritz, the theme of The Edison is well thought out.
With good food at a great price and drinks that are well made, The Edison and Enzo’s Hideaway is a great choice for those that are looking for that late night bite. The menu is available from 10pm–12am Monday through Thursday; Happy Hour runs from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday, with cocktails and wine coming in at $7 and beer costing $5. If you’re looking for an inexpensive midnight bite, The Edison has many offerings on this special menu under $10.
We really had a great time at this media event and looking forward to enjoying this hot spot again in the future.
