How could I go to Las Vegas and NOT pay a visit to one of the most amazing attractions on the strip. Especially with our connection to the Avengers (shout out to the mods!).
When you enter this incredible attraction, nestled inside Treasure Island Resort and Casino, you take a step into the Marvel Cinematic Universe at Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. It truly was amazing and loved that it was so interactive, being an immersive journey far beyond Tony Stark’s machinations. I do have to say that I was blown away with the Avengers gaming chairs and I MUST be looking in to getting one of those. It was…yes…incredible.
As soon as we walked into the S.T.A.T.I.O.N, they took my picture. This was for my trainee badge and then you enter the training, to become one of the most popular and revered member of the Avengers. Our trainers were super energetic and really made you seem like you are on this endeavor to become an Avenger and the interactive play in here was awesome. Everything was on point and highlighted each of the Avengers.
On display is an extensive range of Avengers operational equipment such as Captain America’s uniform and shield, Bruce Banner’s laboratory and The Hulkbuster suit., Vision’s birth cradle, Hawkeye and Black Widow uniforms and weapons, and Iron Man’s MK 45 suit, along with so much morae.
At this Las Vegas Attraction, there is much more than just walking around and looking at suits and weapons. You can delve into the history, science, engineering, genetics, technology and profiles of Captain America, Hulk, Thor and Iron Man. Your goal: To interactively assemble case files on each of the characters and move on to become qualified members of the AVENGERS S.T.A.T.I.O.N. Of course, I am already the, well, leader of this band of super heroes, but it was so much fun to have the Mayne Mafia along with me and see how far we could get.
There is also a retail store, over 8000 square feet of all things Avengers that we got to see. If you cannot visit in person, you can shop online at https://www.stationattraction.com/retail-experience/ and grab merch of your very own. I have to say, it took a lot of willpower for me not to get a souvenir as they had some truly unique and super cool stuff. You can even go into the “lab” and put on the IronMan suit! I would have loved to have done that but we did not want to hold up the staff as it was time for them to go home and let’s face it, we will be back!
If you are coming to Las Vegas and looking for things to do on the strip, especially those things that are fun for the entire family, I truly recommend coming to Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. If you are looking to purchase tickets in advance, go to: https://treasureisland.com/shows/69/marvel-avengers-station.
A big thank you to them for hooking me up and making our experience a great one while we were there! It may have even given me some ideas for the Mayne Mansion. Hey, Jarvis……..
