More on the Avengers E-ticket ride coming to new Marvel land at Disney California Adventure

A new first-of-its-kind Avengers E-ticket ride (isn’t that so old school) will be added to the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure as part of a second phase of the new Marvel themed land coming to the Disneyland park.

The Avengers attraction will feature an all-new ride system when it opens, Disney announced this morning, at the D23 Expo theme park panel in the Anaheim Convention Center.

Riders will climb aboard a Quinjet and fly to Wakanda during the new Avengers attraction.

The Avengers Headquarters building that will serve as the future entrance of the upcoming superhero E-ticket attraction will open with the first phase of the new Marvel land.

Concept art showed Avengers characters performing stunts along the rooftops of the Avengers Headquarters.

Disney did not announce a name or opening date for the new Avengers attraction. The first phase of the new Marvel-themed Avengers Campus opens at Disney California Adventure in 2020.

Disney also revealed at the D23 Expo that riders on the new Spider-Man attraction coming to Avengers Campus will sling virtual webs at escaped spider-bots that have run amok.

The new land’s Pym Test Kitchen, themed to Ant-Man and the Wasp, will serve food that has been shrunk or expanded in size.
